Altjira provides solutions for the modeling of large and complex systems and the embedding of these models into real-world applications. We offer a balanced mix of expertise covering robotics, control engineering, computational neuroscience and machine learning to help clients bring cognitive and intelligent capabilities to their software and hardware products.
Altjira provides a suite of software including the TENNS framework for building models running on both distributed memory and shared memory architectures and utilizing customised hardware co-processors. TENNS can be used as a stand-alone framework or as an engine for embedding within a client's application.
Altjira's software solutions support the integration of components based on the Network Model Interface (NMI), a standard defining the interface between a generic component and a generic framework. It addresses issues in the collaborative development of large, complex and heterogenous models, such as those found in biology. It facilitates the integration of components running under 3rd-party simulation environments such as Matlab. Further information, including an overview of the issues and resources from other parties, can be found at the NMI Simulation Resources homepage.
