A design space object that implements a projection between two planar layers. The delay in each connection is defined by the conduction delay <delayrate> multiplied by the spatial distance between the pre-synaptic and post-synaptic node. When calculating the spatial distance it is assumed that the two layers have the same orientation and position. The name derives from the connectivity in the parallel fibres in the cerebellum.
